What Home Really Is

Home and house are commonly misunderstood. A home and a house are similar, but not the same. A home is more than just 4 walls and a roof, it is that, but even more. A home is where memories are made. Where you grow up. Where you laugh, cry and where you smile. Home is where everything starts. A house is what is on the outside, but a home is what is on the inside. Home is something that you can hold onto, and always look back to when you are scared. Even if you are far or near from home? You can always find it inside your heart. Home is where you go after a long day of hard work, home is where you are welcome. You will always be welcome at home. Home is not just a place. Home is home, where family and friends get together and have fun. home Where you say your first word, you take your first step, you jump your first jump and you make your first move. Home is where the heart is. A home is where you are loved, where everything you love is. A home is where you can go and stay when nothing is going right. Because home is always there when you need it. You can always go home. And you will always feel better. Everyone deserves a place to go when the sky goes dim, a place to wake up to when the light rises. Everyone old or young, lots of money or not a lot. Everyone should get a home, not just people who can afford one. My home is the color gray on the outside but on the inside my home is bright and filled with colors of feelings like red and yellow and even purple. My home is filled with joy and love and fun. Home is where good things begin and good things end. But there are always more good things to come when you're at home. Your address might change as you grow up but your memories will always be there to look back up at when you're scared. Whether your home is big or small a home is a home no matter what the outside looks like or how big it is because as long as you feel safe in your home and feel happy? a home is a home. I wanted to write this essay because I think everyone deserves a home and a nice place to stay. I wanted to let people know what a home really is and hopefully it helps so that more people can have a home and a safe place to sleep or to eat or just to sit in peacefully when it is loud and crazy outside because inside home it is quiet and peaceful.
