Home

Home is a place that is sacred, it's a place where you can be yourself. It's a safe and quiet place, a place you can enjoy its, a place where you feel warm and cozy. It's where your dog or lizard is, it's where your collection of rocks are. So I ask you this: what does home mean to you? A house might have your volleyballs, hockey sticks and skateboards, But it'll never have your family and friends. A house might protect you from all those scary dangers but it won't protect you like a home would. A house is like an apartment or community house, it might protect you but it isn't your home. It's not a place where you can be yourself. So what does home mean to you my dear reader? Home to me is safety and sleep, something important that makes you, you. Home to me is a warm and nice feeling, it's how we survive. It's friends and family. School, or your dog could be your home. For me it's my bed and desktop. Now we are finally done my dear reader, so I ask you this more time. What does home mean to you? A house to me is just a place; it's like a building or warehouse. It's cold and hard, not warm and cozy like a home. A house is fear and sadness, a home is courage and joyfulness. A house is so different from a home I could go on and on, but I won't because that would make this essay too long wouldn't it? So I'll just say that a house and home are different so don't forget it. Now i ask you this again for the last time, what does home mean to you?
