What home is to me

Home to me is not just a place to stay and spend the nights. It’s that warm and cozy place where I feel safe and happy. I love my home because it is where I get to spend time with my mum and my sister. I cook and sing with my sister in the kitchen and make big messes, but our mum doesn’t mind. She actually enjoys the food we make. ? Evenings are my favorite times. I cuddle on the couch and watch movies with my mum. We have lots of favorites and we like watching them over and over again. ? I love my room and spend a lot of time in it. I do a lot of projects and finish my homeworks in there. Time goes by very fast. In the summer time, I ask to go to the beach near my house all the time. When my friends come over we go for bike rides through the park and sometimes we go to get pizza. I think that my home is great not because it is close to the park and to the beach, but because it is where I feel the most happy and because no matter where I am, I know that as soon as I go home all my worries will disappear. It’s my favorite place to be. I understand now why my mum always says “ home sweet home!”
