My Home

My home is a place where I can relax and be with the people I love the most. My home is a place where I can truly be myself without worrying about what people think of me. My home is a place where I can do what I please. My home is a place where I can finally hear some peace and quiet. My home is a place where if I’m sad I have someone there to cheer me up. My home is a place where I feel safe and cared for. My home is a place where I know that I’m loved and constantly reminded of that. My home is a place that I go to after a long day of learning and activities. My home is a place where I can talk as loud as I want to. My home is a place where I enjoy being. My home is a place that is warm during the cold months. My home is a place where I can get help with my homework. My home is a place with a fully stocked fridge, pantry, and recipes waiting to be cooked. My home is a place where I can go to sleep and not have to worry about something happening in the night time. My home is a place where when I walk through the door, I’m greeted by the warm smile of my mother. My home is a place where I can be with my family. My home is a place where I can live happily. This isn’t the case for everybody. But it is for me and I’m very grateful for these privileges.
