What Home Means to Me

Home can mean many things and also many places, it doesn't need to be made of four walls or even in a certain place. Home can mean people always being there to give you love after a hard day. Home can mean a place where you can be free to do whatever you want and you will never be doubted or criticized. Home can be somewhere safe where nothing or no one can bother or hurt you. Home can be a place of courage where you will get endless support from your loved ones. Home can mean your siblings, parents, or pets' faces light up when you come home every day, each of them eager to talk to you and ask all about your day. Home can mean somewhere where you can laugh, cry, and feel free to express all of your deepest darkest most personal feelings with no worry of being judged. Home can mean endless love and respect. Home can mean somewhere where you go to relax and you always will be entertained Home can mean a certain feeling you get from a country or town that you have always loved to be. Home can mean the sound of water hitting the rocks or the sight of birds flying in the sky Home can mean the the smell or salt water or the taste of cooked fish. Home can mean a special place where you and your family make memories that you all will never forget. Home is not made up of walls or buildings even though you might live in a building or a house what makes up a home are the people that live there, thats what really makes a home. Thanks for reading my little poem now you know what I call home!
