My Very Awesome Home

Many people think of a house as just a building. I think of a home as a place were I can make memories and feel safe with my family. It is a place where I can feel okay to make mistakes and then laugh about them. When I walk into my warm home I always feel loved. It’s not about what my home looks like on the outside, it’s how it makes me feel on the inside. If I walk into any other home, it just won’t have that same feeling. In my home I know I can be myself. With all the scratches and dents on the walls, I know it is my spectacular loving home. Without these marks, it just wouldn’t feel the same. When I walk up the front steps, open the door and smell my moms wonderful chili, it makes my mouth water. I know when she cooks for me she loves me. My house would definitely not be the same without my family. We always have movie nights on Friday. I get so excited because we all snuggle up on the couch with super buttery popcorn. This is home to me. I strongly believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. I’m very lucky that I have a home like mine.
