Meaning of Home

Do you know what a home is? I had thought a home was just a building with a roof on top. I now realize a home is a place where you feel comfy and where you can express your different emotions without anyone judging you. Home is a place where you feel loved and a place you can be yourself. One thing you should know about a home is that it’s not about how it looks or how it smells. It’s about how you feel inside. For example, do you feel calm and like you belong? Or do you feel uncomfortable and out of place? I feel calm in my home by reading a book or by talking to my mom. The reason I feel like I belong is because of how my mom, dad and brother treat me. They always show me care and respect. I love my home and I am delighted to have the chance to share that with others.
