What Home Means to Me

Many families can be in different homes. Some in actual buildings and some in the street and it isn't easy living in the streets. So they need homes. But that's not what home is to them in their perspective. A house has a room of your territory. It means you can do almost anything, a structure for you to not be wet, cold, hot, or struck by lightning, and a good place to rest so you can feel comfortable where you sleep. Having a house is great, but if you really think about it, a home isn't just a house with good stuff in it. A home is when you have a lot of things that help you survive and a place to be safe. You have food, you are safe with your family, and you feel calm and comfortable. What I think a home is to me is that you have a family, love, and support. Of course many people see home a different way and that’s okay. I wish for the whole world to know about how important it is to learn about what the people with no house think of the home they have, and what is so different about homes and houses. Because I know for sure that the people who don’t live in houses think about homes being the same as houses. Many people have different perspectives in the world about homes and houses are not the same. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
