The Meaning of Home

Home is a place to make memories, good or bad. Home is a place where you cry and laugh. Home is a place to fight with your siblings. Home is where you spend time with your family. Home can be anywhere as long as you feel safe and comfortable. If you move to a new house it feels like a house. It takes time for a house to become a home. Home has no restrictions, home is where you can be free and let out all your emotions. When you see a person on the streets you call them homeless but they could have a home out there, really they are houseless. When you see a nice building in the neighborhood you say that's a nice house. The person that lives there thinks that is my home. A house is brick, stone, wood and windows, a home is family and friends, a place to feel free, comfortable and safe, a place to let your emotions go. Home is a place where people love you, a place where you don’t have to be perfect. The place where you eat, sleep and live. The place where you make memories whether they are good or bad, you will always remember your home. A house can become a home as long as there are people that love you and special things that make you feel safe.
