The Meaning of Home

One of the things I think of the meaning of home is this: It's not just a block of bricks, a house, even if it's the largest one in the city or the smallest. Home is like a place you love, and feel safe in. It could be a house, or it could be something else. Most people probably have heard the phrase " a home away from home". It could be more like this: " A home away from the house". It could be a city, a neighborhood, a country, or a school, or a library (not for me), or a place that you work at (also not for me), or whatever else a person feels safe in and loves. Usually someone has a hometown, or home country, or something like that. For example, my home country is Canada. Another thing on the difference between a house and a home is that a person could have multiple homes, even if they only had one house. Therefore, there is multiple differences between a house and home. To sum it all up, the meaning of home, to me, is much different the meaning of just a house, and in my opinion, more important.
