Meaning of Home

There is a difference between a home and a house. A house is a place to stay. It's a building where you can go to have a roof over your head, but it's what's inside the house that matters. A home is a joyful place with love, laughter and happiness. I love to come home after school and see my family, sit down at the table and have supper with them. Lots of things happen at our home, some good and some bad, but no matter what I will always be able to call my home “home”. My home feels cozy and when I’m inside I feel safe. My home is where I can cozy up on the couch, watch a movie or a tv show and talk with my family. I'm so grateful that I can come home to running water and food in my fridge. I have so many great memories inside and outside my home. I hope everyone has a house and a place to call home. A house is a physical structure but a home is where your family is. It is where love is and it’s a place you can stay where you feel safe and happy.
