A home - not a house, boys and girls - is somewhere with warmth and a secure feeling Somewhere with family and memories, don’t forget laughing If you do not agree that houses are not homes, then you will by the end of this Some families constantly snap at eachother with a hiss Would you like to know one reason for this? Houses are a problem - no love, no pleasant family Homes are where you can blossom grandly There would and will be warm smiles on a cold day Inside, families are hidden, and all I can say… … Is that a house, no, not a home, is constructed with work and struggle And, nevertheless, ensuing all this trouble People will come and people will fret For these people can’t afford these houses yet And so, I have written this with glee For each and every one of them to see Understand this with family and friends too And recognise that some assistance is needed from you Money has been raised People will praise VROOM! Cars have now appeared, their motors loud All these poems are there, ever so proud Some of the people don’t understand hardships They don’t have to take prolonged trips To get to somewhere safe, and somewhere new And do many people have a clue? Well now, pay more attention, as this is not true Now, I hope that you will remember to lend a hand to a friend Alas, goodbye, that’s how I will end
