The King's Home

To me home is a safe place. A place where you can be happy, sad, scared, any feeling. Here is a short comic strip about a house vs a home: April 5th, 650, “Why sire, why won’t you buy this house.” “It has 1000 rooms.” “Because it doesn't make me happy.” “I DON'T WANT A HOUSE!” “I WANT A HOME!” “Be gone.” Barked the king. “Wait no ahhhh.” Screamed the peasant “I just want a home.” sighed the king “But alas good homes are hard to find.” “Oh, but I think I have a home for you.” Suddenly the king felt a supernatural presence. “WHO’S THERE?” “It’s me, the home-spirit.” “The best spirit.” “Where did you come from oh mighty spirit. Asked the king. “I’ve been here for like, ten minutes.” “Oh.” “Anyway thy said the could find me a home? Said the king. ”Yes.” I can sire.” said the soothing voice of the spirit. “Well then step on it!” The king yelled. “Here we are.” “It’s got 1000000 rooms, 1000 beds and 100 servants.” said the spirit. “For how much?” “$36000000.” “No. “Say what?” “NO.” “I will not pay $36000000 for rooms.” Said the king. “Oh and I forgot to tell you, only you can live in it.” Added the spirit. “same as the others.” “Wait, who are you?” said the king. “I am the true home-spirit.” “You actually thought I looked like that?” Said the spirit. “I just wanted to test if you knew the difference between a house and a home.” Said the true spirit. Well of course I do, a house is just a place.” “But a home is family, feelings fun and love.” Said the king. “Exactly.” “That's why I want to give you this home for free, and all your family can live in it.” said the spirit. “Really, thank you so much.” snuffled the king. “This will help us so much.”
