Home

To me a home and a house are two completely different things a house is a building with a kitchen, living room, bed and floors. But a home is a place you can go when you need peace and quiet or when your sad and the people in that house will lift you up to make you the best you you can be. A place with the people that you can trust and that make you feel like you and don’t try to change who you are. My home is my neighboors that I can go to have fun and play under the sun or the snow. My home is where ive tried my favourite meals and where I learned how to ride a bike. So many special things that have happened to me in that home that I’ll never forget. Have you ever heard the saying “ Home is where the heart is “ its saying that no matter how many houses you live in you will always have a home. It might not be the one you live in now or it might be your grandparents house but everyone deserves to have a place to call home. I’m so lucky to have a home like mine where I feel safe and loved and so we all need to understand that not everyone has a roof over their heads or a nice warm bed to sleep on or people that live with them that make them feel safe and loved. And sometimes we forget that not everyone has a safe house or people that make them feel loved and supported. And that is why I wrote this to help habitat for humanity by writing this essay to give people that safe and loving place to call HOME.
