Meaning of home

Home to me is my Nan and Pop’s house. It’s cozy, comfortable, a place I love to be. But my home also is my room. I spend most of my time there and make so many good memories there, all the good ones. Me and my cat always cuddle there. Some people aren’t as lucky as us and don’t have houses or can’t afford nice clothes, we take our lives for granted. I’m grateful for my family and my house. A lot of people in Afghanistan and Pakistan, for example, we read a book about that in my class and their lives sound unlivable. I can’t imagine living like that. It sounds terrible. I feel safe in my house and with my friends and family. I get what I ask for most of the time and there are some people in the world that don’t even have shoes. I get what I want most of the time and go wherever I can. I can walk places and drive. I’m in hockey and baseball and that costs money. Home is my safe place. I'm there all the time. That’s home to me.
