What Home Means To Me

What does home mean to YOU? Today I’m here to tell you what it means to me. Here are my three paragraphs. Shelter Imagine being stuck outside on a cold or rainy day, with nowhere to go, no home to go to. If you have a home, though, you would probably be inside, cozy, and comfortable in your living room chilling with your family and friends. I’m grateful to have a home, and to have shelter. Some people out there don’t have any shelter, no house to live in. That must be horrible, not having a home. Having a home means shelter and warmth. Safety When you're not at your house sometimes, you might feel a bit unsafe. I’m sure that’s happened to everyone before, at least once. But in your home, you probably feel safe and cozy and warm. Some people don’t get to feel like that, sadly. We get a nice room to sleep in, while they get to sleep on the streets. Someone could be WATCHING THEM SLEEP, no joke. I wouldn’t feel safe at all. Anything could happen out there. Meanwhile at home, you could be with your family and friends, feeling safe because they're with you. I’m glad that I have a home to sleep in. Family and friends I’m lucky to have a home, family, and a lot of friends. A lot of people don’t have any of that part of what makes a home a HOME is your family. If I didn’t have a family, I’d be really sad. Spending time with family is great, and I feel bad for anybody who doesn’t have a family. Spending time with friends is fun, too. I have a rink in my backyard and me and my friends like skating on it. Family and friends are definitely part of my house. Those are my three paragraphs about what home means to me.
