A house is not a home

A house just has four walls and a roof but a home is filled with pictures and memories. For example, at my home my dad has been measuring my height and each six months we check to see how much I have grown. When I think of my home I think of my family sitting by the fire on Christmas day waiting to see who gets to open the next present. I think of me with my 2 dogs and teaching my dogs how to do tricks. What do you think when you think of your home? A house is just a structure and even though a home is that same structure it’s what is inside that matters. All the memories are inside. Which is why a house is not a home. Why do you think a house is not a home? Maybe you think they are the same? But this is what home means to me.
