A Home To Me

A home to me is a safe place to go, a place to relax, and a place to grow. I go to my room when I am stressed, sad or happy, or in need of rest. My home keeps me and my family warm, during heavy snowfalls and during rainstorms. My family makes me feel loved and cozy, when we play outside in the cold our cheeks get rosy. In our home, we enjoy watching movies together and when I’m with them, my worries are light as a feather. Our house protects my family, myself, and my adorable pets and in my home, I have no regrets. My house is happy and near a lake, my neighbors are so swell, they are so great! I am so very lucky to have this home where in my yard I am free to roam. Habitat for Humanity is so very kind, it helps people have a place to unwind. Everyone deserves a home like me, that is why we need to help our community. My house is made of bricks and stone, but on the inside, it is my home.
