My Home

My home is a place, a place where I feel safe. I love this place, that’s warm and is filled with grace. Accepting me with lots of love, I feel at home and that I’m loved. My families love Is all I need to feel complete. My family, dogs, cats, and trees are all I need to succeed. I have a lot of things on my plate: love, food and a warm embrace. Home is a place that I stay, and It will stay this way. I’m glad I have a place to stay, but I’m sad for others who are away. Four walls and a roof is not much to me, but could mean a lot to you. I am very grateful to have my home, but some kids don't, and they probably feel alone. Making sure they have a home isn't a thing to postpone. By writing this poem, I hope that people can understand that they are loved by everyone. Sometimes It may be hard, but trust me, you have a good heart. All I need to succeed is making sure that people have a nice and warm bed to sleep.
