What home means to me

Home is where our life begins. Where we were first born, well you were obviously born in a hospital, or somewhere else, but home is where you first slept and lived at. You opened your eyes to this house with two floors and a couch where you can sit, a crib where you can sleep, well right now we sleep in a bed but when you were a baby of course you slept in a crib. You can express your feelings to your family, and you can speak your language without feeling unsafe. Believe me, when you're at home, you feel comfortable when you speak your language but when you're in public, I don't know you just don't feel safe. I know you're probably saying that no one can even understand us but sometimes, some people are just cruel and make fun of your language. Moving on, home is where you are protected, you feel safe and you even have a lock on your door to be more safe! Home is not where you have to work all day, home is where you can relax, feel the air flowing in your house. Home is where you can sit on a couch and watch TV all day in your sleeping clothes! You can get cooked meals from your parents and sometimes you eat breakfast in bed! Home is where you can take your mask off and breathe and you don't have to worry about staying away from people. You have a roof above your head, protecting you from the rain, snow, and even wind. Home is a place to be cozy and warm beside the fireplace and you just sit there. That's what home means to me. I hope you like it!
