Meaning of Home

A home could be whatever you want but in my eyes it's what type of decorations I have, my family, my memories, my senses, and really anything that is personal to me. Notice how I said MY family, MY senses, MY memories, MY decorations, and anything personal to ME. That's because those things make my house a home to me, those are some of things that make my house a home. And everyone has something that makes their house a home to them. The first thing out of my top three things that make my house a home is family. My family really makes my house a home because I can tell them anything and I can connect and relate with them. My family makes me feel safe. I hang out with my sister and do fun things together but even if we get mad at each other a lot we still are siblings. Sometimes I get in trouble with my parents but in the end I'm still their son and they're still my parents. Also spending time with my parents always makes me feel much better when I'm annoyed or mad. When I'm hurt they take care of me, when I'm sad they make me feel better and that's a thing that makes my house a home. Without my family my house would probably stay boring and just a house. And my family makes me feel like I'm home. The second thing that makes my house my home is the senses. When I come into my home after school if I were blind I can tell I'm home from the smell. If I'm in my living room and I lay down on my couch with a blanket I can tell I'm in my living room. If my parents are cooking and it's time to eat and if I have eaten that food before I can tell I’m home eating my parents food. Some background sounds I've heard I'm so familiar with I can tell if I hear those sounds like my washing machine that sounds like a transformer. And last but not least my sight. Everyone can see their home with their own eyes, even if they're still imagining it as your home that you came up with. I probably can never imagine how many things you can do to make your house a home. Anything that you think that will make your house a home can make it YOURS, even if it is not an original idea it's still not in everyone's house. My third thing is my memories, everyone has memories and most of them are in your home which is the case for me. Memories start conversations and laughter in my house. For example when I’m eating at the dinner table with my family we always talk about memories, and not every home does that which is why it makes me feel like I'm home. Memories allow my family to have conversations and it's very great in my opinion and sometimes when we talk about memories I remember so many things I have done that I forgot about. I don't know why but I just feel so good when I remember good memories and also I hear other people's good memories as well. And memories make me think of fun things to do with my family in the future. That's everything that makes my house a home and it could be different for everyone or the exact same. But as long as you think it's home material it's a home. Some kids might imagine their home in the future or their room even if they think it would be a home to them it's a home for sure. I love my home right now but there's a few things I would upgrade with my room and other things but that's not the main thing. The main thing is if I'm with my family it's a home in my eyes. If I were in a htek that's my home for a while, even if we can't decorate it or any=thing i feel like I'm home since I'm with my family. And now that closes up my Meaning Of Home essay.
