What Home Means To Me

Home means having people in my house that care about me, having a roof over my head, having a family that loves each other and going home to a heated house in the winter. It means feeling safe, having food in my house, getting served supper every night, not having to worry about money because I know my parents will take care of that. It means knowing I can get a warm hug whenever I want, having a bed to sleep in, having someone to take care of me when I’m sick and not everyone has that. People are also going through hard times right now, because they can’t find houses that are priced reasonably. With covid the prices are going up a lot on a lot of things, and I do not find that helpful for the ones in need. Everyone that lives under a roof should be thankful, I’m thankful that I have everything in a house that you need like a bathroom, a bedroom, a kitchen, a living room, and more but all those things are really all you really need. I feel bad for all of the homeless people because sometimes its -25 outside and they have to live in that, so I’m so happy I can go to bed in a comfortable bed and have a good night sleep and stay warm. I can always feel safe in my house and even if I have a bad dream and get scared I always know I can go to one of my family members that love me. But the most things important things about home are family, love, kindness and happiness.
