What my home means to me

My house is a shelter. But this is my home. My grandparents are part of my home because they love me and I love them too. I sleep at their house every weekend with my brother and my sister. And on Friday night my entire family comes over and eats dinner with us. I love it when my grandma makes me laugh because she's so funny. My grandpa makes the best steak ever and whenever I have it I get into a food coma because of how much I eat of it. Friends are another part of my home because whenever I'm sad or feel lonely they always make me feel better. I draw with my friend and we always play together. We love drawing spiderman and doodles. My other friend always makes me laugh. We play video games together and we both tell each other what we saw on tik tok and we always trade lego together. My parents are a big part of my home. I love going fishing with my dad and he always takes me and my brother on small road trips. I also love playing video games with him. My mom is the biggest part of my home. She always makes me laugh and she always arranges playdates with me and she does everything for me. She always drives me to my grandparent's house and to my cottage. Basketball is my favorite sport because I can always rely on it when I'm sad and it's so much fun. I play it with my uncle. I'm on a team called the jcc warriors. My friend and my cousin are also on the team. My favorite basketball quote that I think of when I'm sad is this: "What's there not to love? Basketball is the most reliable thing in the world. It don't complain, don't ask any questions. You bounce it, it comes right back up.`` That is what motivates me to keep going in basketball to eventually be in the NBA. And that's what home means to me.
