A House to Grow

August 21 was my birth and my first day in my house, When I turned 1 my house became a lot of fun. I learned how to walk, talk and run and became afraid of scary gnomes, And when I was 2 my favorite book before bed was Goodnight moon. As the winter passed my house grew older and colder. I was not an older brother until my younger brother came along. When I turned 3 my brother and I went in and out of the house playing and screaming. When I was 4 my house was old enough, so we sold the house, And came across a new house. The house had a mouse, so we had to fix up the house, But when we moved in, We all fit in. But also when I was 4 my brother was born. Now the house was filling up but nobody was giving up. When I was six I went on a trip, so when I was seven I started eating melones. Then I was 8 and the pandemic came. And when I turned 9 I was still online. Now I am ten and I will say that my house now does not have a mouse, but it is very fun and my greatest moments were in my house. So now my house has earned the right not to be not a physical structure that protects you from scary gnomes and to be a home. A home that will hold all the good memories and that will throw away the bad memories. I like writing for good causes like habitat for humanity, so that is why I am writing for you and me.
