The Meaning of Home

Hello! My name is Azeezah and this is my meaning of home project. Wherever your family is, that is where home really is. Even if you have a small family, you can always rely on them. What home means to me is good food, being loved and family! What home means to me is, always smelling something in the kitchen. One of the delights of having a home is that you can always have a warm home-cooked meal. I love home cooked meals. Having a home-cooked meal should never be a privilege, it should be a right. What home means to me is being loved. My aunty loves hugs and kisses. Any time I get home, I would always stay in my aunt's room for 10 minutes before I realise I still have my uniform on. I also love that my dad is so fun. We would play hide-and-seek or try to keep the balloon in the air. I love my mom because she would teach me how to cook. My mom helps me cook penne, macaroni, spaghetti, boil eggs and so much more. I really like cashews! My aunty would always buy them for me and I would always bug her until they come. In my house it is always warm (usually). I love how there is a big blanket that I usually steal for myself. Last but not least, my mom or dad would hug my sister and I before we went to sleep. I love being loved! What home means to me is family. Family is a feeling that you get, like when you come home from school or work. You see your family and you are so glad you can see them. All you want to do is be with your family, it’s such a nice feeling when your family looks at you and they smile. There is no word to describe how great a family is. I love my family! It doesn’t matter where you come from, everyone deserves a home. A house is completely different from a home. A home is where a family is, a house is made out of bricks and wood. Home is where the heart is, home is always near.
