My very own home

Some people think it’s better to be out of their house. But they are very wrong. Home is the best place you could ever think of. Because what it has there isn’t anywhere else. What it has there, nobody else has. It has your family and your pets. And your home is where your family always is. Your family is there when you get home from school. When you get home from all your sports. They’re there to cook you all your meals. Home is a place where there should be all sorts of things. There should be blankets that keep us warm. There should be things that we can do together. But most importantly, there’s feelings. Most of the time their good feelings. But sometimes their bad feelings too. When you're at home with your family you should always spend some time together. You should play a game with them or watch a show with them. Even if they are not there, you should call them. I am 9 years old, and I own a house at the end of a cul-de-sac, and I live with my parents, my 2-year-old sister and my dog, Jules. Every time I get home, my dog comes to greet me. And my home is also the place where I play with Barbies with my sister. It is also the place where I snuggle with my dog. It is also the place where I watch shows with my parents after my sister goes to bed. It doesn't matter where my physical home is if my family is in it. Everyone deserves a home. That’s one of the reasons I did this essay, about why home is important to me. And I am so lucky to have one of my own.
