Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home What is a house? A house is like a nest for humans. Most people refer to their house as their “home.” This isn’t 100% true though. A house can be, however, the beginning of a new home. A house is a small building with room for usually about one family and possibly one or two people living in the basement. There are some other places where people live such as apartments, trailers, cabins, cottages, houseboats, mansions, etc. A house is simply the common home. So… what’s the difference? A house is a home, but a home isn’t a house. Here are some differences between houses and homes: A house is a structure. A home can be anything. A house is either a normal house or a bungalow. A home is anywhere you live. You can call a small building which one person owns a house. You can call your house, town, province/state, or country your home. There are many other differences, but there are too many so I’m going to end this topic here. What is a home? Home is where you live, The location of where you live, and anywhere you feel free to call home. Home is not just a house. Home is a lot more than you think. So what exactly is home? The answer is: There is no true meaning of home. You have to decide what home means to you, and what makes it feel like home. In conclusion, there is no correct definition of home. And if there really is a meaning, it would be impossible to explain. A home is not an object, nor is it even necessarily your property. I can’t explain it, but I know deep down what home is and so does everybody else. And that includes you.
