Home

All homes are different, my home was someone else's home before it was my home. When we first moved in, it was quiet, cold and empty. We would sleep in the living room and eat frozen dinners because we didn’t have a fridge and they would last longer. My home is not just a house, it is a home because that is where my family is. I live with my mom who has brown hair and green eyes, my dad who has blond hair and blue eyes, and our rottweiler puppy Raven. My home is calm and safe. My home is really old, it has been a home to people since the 1880’s. My home has lots of stories to tell, memories to share. My home is special to me. Home is where I can be with my family. More memories are waiting in the future, more happy times! Home to me is happiness, good times and love My home is on a quiet neighbourhood, half paved half dirt. We have a field across the road, where the wildlife play in the setting sun. It’s calming. That is what home is to me. It may mean something different to you, and that’s ok! It means something different to everyone. Your home is most likely not the same as my home, and that’s a good thing, you have different memories and experiences! Home isn’t just a house, it is a special place, a safe place.
