What Home Means to Me

The meaning of home to me is what has happened over the past eleven years. And that has turned me into the person I am today. A house can be destroyed but a home can not. And Every time I am at home I feel safer and more comfortable. Home is a place to savur and make you happy, and to bring back memories from years ago. I can remember every Birthday and Christmas, Easter and Halloween. Home is waking up on christmas day and running to my christmas tree to see a mountain of presents waiting for me. Home is pouring candy out of my pillow case on Halloween and sorting it all. It can also be looking for easter eggs and trying to find more than my brother. I can think about many times I have had family over at my house to celebrate birthdays and Christmas and to have dinner. When I leave my house for a hockey game I say bye and In an hour or so I return to the place I love so much. Home is lying down on my bed and turning on my l,e,d lights thinking about all the times I've cooked in the kitchen and read in the living room. Home is talking to my friends on the mic in the basement. Well, I'm playing video games. My house is the best thing in the world. Whenever I walk through my front door I feel lucky that I have a home and a home that means so much to me. If i had to make a word to represent home it would be “love”. Love builds my house and powers it but there have been bad things in my house too. Me smashing my head open on a ledge my brother getting hit in the head with a hockey puck times things have brok in the house. Here's one thing: despite all the bad things I still love my home and I will always love my home. If you think about it, home it is a book with new pages everyday and more action every month and if it was a published book it would be the best I've ever read. Some more things that are great about home is that it can be a classroom in online learning, a place to open up about things and talk, it can be a cooking competition in the kitchen, home is everything you want it to be. Home is reading with my mom, watching James Bond in the basement, home is my mom giving me a haircut “stop cutting so much '' there is nothing i would change about my house because it is the best I have made too many memories to let this house go and if it changes I will make more memories at another place. That's my meaning of home. Thank you and hope you enjoyed it .
