The meaning of home

My family has a house that I love - it is where we gather and live. Home is warmth and love for me. In this way, home isn’t the house itself, instead it's a place where I can be with my family and friends. I love coming home from a long day and ringing the doorbell and hearing my little sister running towards the door with a huge smile on her face and when she sees that it's me she starts calling for mom with excitement. I love going out on my backyard rink with my dad and my brother and sometimes my mom and sister. We have spotlights on it at night and it feels really special. I love waking up and smelling my mom's chocolate chip pancakes. I love taking turns with video games with my brother on our PS4. I love falling asleep beside my fish every night. While my family has a house, what makes this a home is the people inside it and the love we have for each other.
