A House to You, a HOME to Me

The house is not the home, a home is a feeling. It is safety, happiness, and love. A house is just a place for a home, and while you may look and see a simple house, I see my loving home. Everybody deserves to have a home, a place they can feel good. One of the biggest parts of home to me is my family. If I am with my family, then I am home. If you do not have any nearby family, a good way to transform your house into a home is to get a pet. Pets will keep you company if you are lonely and will make your house start to feel like your home. The biggest thing to make me feel at home is the Cross and the Bible. These make me feel at home, because I know Jesus loves me and as long as I believe, I am saved. Your home does not need to be a house, it can be a community. A community that everyone loves and helps to grow, also helping those who need it by donating or building things like shelters and places people who need to get food can. My biggest tie to make my community also feel like home is my karate classes. It is a place I go to train, but it is much more than that. It is a place to learn to be kind, and to always be hard on yourself, but soft on others. It is also a place to make friends, and without it I don’t know if my community would really feel like home. I hope my writing can help everyone understand a house is not a home. A house is only a building, and a home is what you make it.
