Meaning of Home
Home is not just a building, or walls, but it is a place to make memories, and be
with your family. Home is a place where I have extraordinary events, make friends,
go on family walks. My sister and I enjoy having the gift of each other. We watch our
Beyblades® crash into each other, I crash into the couch and watch family movies
together, or play boardgames, like Catan. Home is where I can feel safe to confess
my feelings.
Home is my happy place where sometimes my mother, sister, and I bake
together. My mom reads to my sister and I almost every night. I am allowed to have
the privilege to go to school, have a fantastic teacher, and have friends who care
about what happens to me. I am grateful for having fresh food and water. My family
is all I could ask for, and I want everyone to have a family like mine. All those
refuges’ out there, most were separated from their families, and do not have a
home on top of that. I'm very lucky to have a such a marvelous family.
