MEANING OF HOME

Can you imagine not having a place to feel belonging or a place to feel loved well to you will know. A house is a structure or a building where you can live and do your daily routine, but a home is where you can feel safe, comfortable and experience love. It can also be a place that you are used to and can feel welcome. For me, a home is about family and having a place to belong and feel that belonging when you come back from an exhausting day at work or school. Every day when I wake up in my home, I can go to the kitchen and eat breakfast and can focus on my chores, getting to school on time and doing my best. People who do not have a place to call home can struggle with the stress of their lives and still do not have the security of their own house. So having a home that is affordable can help people build a life that is more meaningful. If you have a place to call home, you can rest well and contribute better to the world. Thank you so much for what you guys do and I cannot believe you have made homes for so many people and have changed so many people’s lives. They must be so grateful for your help. And that is the meaning of home to me so thank you so much for what Habitat for Humanity does and how many lives you have changed.
