The Meaning of Home

The Meaning Of Home The meaning of home is when you come home and help your family cook a lovely dinner. Then when it’s done, have a nice warm dinner with your family. Or, home is playing games and having FUN! Hearing dice roll and laughter makes your home feel warm and safe. Or when you have had a long day and need to relax crawling into a nice made bed and playing on your phone feels relaxing. Home is when you hear the kettle whistling when your tea is ready and watching a nice movie with your family and hearing your sister say “is the scary part over yet?” Really, just turning the tap on and getting a nice cool glass of water makes a house a home. Or cleaning the house and then looking at it when your done and letting out a big breath of happiness knowing your home is clean and tidy. The most important part of a home isn’t the stuff in it but the people in it. Your family is the most important thing in the world and no matter what house you live in, whether or not it’s a mansion, or a little cottage, it’s the people in it that really matter. That is the meaning of home.
