What home means to me

What does home mean to me? To me, home is much more than a structure of shelter. it’s a place of love, happiness and family. It’s a place where I can be myself, without trying to impress someone or act like someone I’m definitely not. When I’m home I can feel the love that my family gives even if it’s when my sister is pinching me for no reason. Home can be anywhere as long as your friends and family are there. When I know I’m home, I hear video game sounds from my sister, my dad laughing, and smell delicious food that my mom is cooking. Home means everything to me because it's where I spend most of my life. It’s a place where I hang out with my friends and family. It’s also where I can relax and be a couch potato until I have to do homework. If there’s a special moment everyone will be there to celebrate with you. Home is where I share memories of good times, and it’s a place of hopes and dreams. You can do whatever your heart truly desires whenever you want. This is what home means to me.
