The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is different for everyone, and you are the only one who can decide what home means to you. A home isn't always a structure. It is a place where you feel safe and protected. You know you can be yourself and not worry what others are going to think. While feeling love and accepted, you feel at home. Your home might be with your parents and a sibling, while another person's home may be just with their significant other. Home is one of the most important things for a person's mental health, and everyone needs their own version of it. Do you have those nights where you can’t sleep thinking about old memories? And starring in those memories are the people you love the most? When you are around these people, you get a warm fuzzy feeling and you feel happy, you just know that you are going to stay with them forever as a part of your family. You stay with these people in your home, and they are always there for you to brighten your day. I believe everyone should have a stable home, where they make memories like these that they can always remember. You deserve to be happy and healthy, and the number one step to achieving that is to have a home. Having a loving family and a secure home will steer you to an overall happier and healthier lifestyle. Home should be a happy place that feels right. But this isn't a structure. It is a place in your heart. Without a home that doesn't do those things for you, your life would go downhill, and I believe that everyone deserves to have a long and happy life.
