Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Home means spending time with my family, playing and sometimes being alone. Home is where you can be safe, comfortable and free. Home is a special place to me is because of my dog. My dog is a chocolate lab, she is very energetic, and her name is Zoey. One of my favourite memories with her is when we put cute little boots on her feet and we would go for walks in the winter. She would run super crazy! I still remember when I tried to get out of the way of her bolting back at us and she hit me because I moved right in front of her. I love my dog and she is a big part of home. When I think of home I think of my friends. My friends feel like home because they are super funny. We play a ton of games like soccer, basketball and a lot of hockey on my community ice rink. A lot of the time in summer we would build giant bike jumps and go off them. I like to have my friends over to my house and playing with them in our neighbourhood. Another reason home is special place to me is because the time we spend as a family. Family time is special to me because of all the fun we have together. One of the fun times I had with my dad was when we stayed in a hotel with a super fast water slide. Family time is full of fun memories and reminds me of home. Home is a place where I feel loved and make memories. I want everyone to have a home and make good memories like mine.
