A home is a home
This is my home, not too small
nor too tall.
As I walk down the hall
I smell my mom's amazing cooking!
She greets me with a nice big smile. As I look down the stairs, and see the basement, my Dad waves, and I wave back.
I continue walking and take a whiff of the Ethiopian coffee beans sizzling on the pan that makes me feel at home the most. My home is more than a house; it's where the people know me the most. I could not feel safer.
It's where I've been forever
longer than I can remember.
I've never been more comfortable anywhere else.
But what if my family was not there?
Then it's just a house
There is no home without the people that love you the most.
