Home

What does a home mean? I searched for a definition and I found this: “The place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household.” I agree with this as well. I think that what is in a home is very important for me and that home also means a safe, clean and comfortable place where everything is taken care of. A home holds all of my favourite stuff. The most important is my family. Without my parents and my sister, it wouldn’t be the same. It also wouldn’t be the same without all of my other favourite things like my room, my electronics, my pets and my toys. It is where I can go to find these and I always know where home is. Home is a safe, clean comfortable place to relax at the end of the school day. There is no fear of disease or illness. everything is clean and where it’s supposed to be. It is warm or cold, depending on the weather, to keep my family healthy and cozy inside. A home is a place where everything I need in life is taken care of and I don’t have to pay for it. Well, love is not paid for but food and clothing and supplies that are needed. Everything for survival is in a home plus lots of love. This is what home means to me. If this is what your home is like, that is amazing! I hope everyone has a safe, clean and comfortable place to call home.
