The Meaning of Home

A home is not just a place where you live and a place where you can find peace, love and joy. A place where you grow, you watch yourself fall and get back up when you are learning how to walk. It takes hands to build a house but it takes a heart to build a home and your heart can only build one home. We treasure so many memories in our homes. My heart fills with joy when I think about how blessed I am to have a home, to see my family's happiness and so many memories I shared with my family and friends. Home is not just a place it’s also a feeling like how when we feel sad, scared or tired, we just want to go home. At home I feel like myself because I can let all of my emotions and thoughts run free, I also feel safe because have my family here to protect me from any danger. I feel relaxed and comforted by their love, warm hugs and smiles. All of these things makes me feel at home and home is what makes me feel like me. Life can bring so many different places you will never know but love brings you back where the heart is, home.
