Home is where You're Happy

Home Is Where You’re Happy When I wake up in the morning first thing I do is open up my eyes then I open up my window and look up at the sky. “Some people's lives aren’t this way. Where you can feel safe both night and day. Some people don’t have a home, which is why I’m writing this poem. To give hope to those who have none to give to the poor, so it can be done. So this wonderful contest, it's not for me, it’s for the homeless, so they can be free. Free to feel safe with the ones they love. Free to feel free, just like a dove. Free as a bird on the wind. And as I said before, we should all try to give to the poor. Because at the end of the day, home is not a place: home is where you’re happy.
