My Home... My Happy Place

To me a home is a safe space where you should be loved and cared for by your parents and siblings. A home means being surrounded by family. A home should be a safe place where you are not worried or scared. A home can be small or big but no matter the size, you should always feel safe and happy. A home does not mean the same to everyone. Some people look and compare homes by the size. To me the size does not matter! A home is a home as long as you have walls, a roof and a loving family inside. Some homes are small and some are big. If I live in a house by myself and it is a mansion, it is not a home because there is no family surrounding me. A home is a space where you can have fun and play games with family and friends. It is a place to talk and laugh with your loved ones. A home should not be a place of fighting and yelling. At home you should not feel angry or uncomfortable. Instead you should feel relaxed, at ease and happy. When you live in a home you will most likely have to do chores. Children usually get angry because they do not want to do chores, but you have to remember that you need to keep your home clean so that it is a healthy environment. Overall different people have different ideas about what makes a house a home. In my opinion, a house can be any size or quality as long as you are surrounded by family and loved ones.
