Everyone Deserves a Home

It's not the running electricity that makes my home bright, It's the teamwork and kindness that make my home right. My home is important to me, It is the best place I could ever be. My home is where I can stay, And it is where I work and play. My home protects me from regular or heavy storms, It also keeps me safe and warm. My home is where I make mistakes, And also learn from them, no matter what it takes. Lots of people don’t have a home to sleep and eat, Most live in the hot and cold streets. People in the streets are not alone, Because we change that, by giving them a home. We need to raise money to build homes for the families in need, By writing poems like these. Families or people from the streets who now have a nice place, Will definitely have a smile on their face. Families and people in need, deserve a home.
