Where I Feel Safe

Where I Feel Safe We should all feel safe at home. But some of us don’t and that is not a good thing. Some people feel like their home is not stable. There are lots of us that our home is not safe. Most of us have a kind of new home or an old one. People who need a new home don't feel safe. When people feel safe it is like they have a family. That's where Habitat for Humanity comes in.They help people who need a home. Have you ever had a very weak or just very sick family member? Or have you ever been sick? When you are sick you feel safe if you have a home. That’s why it is important to help people who don’t have a home of their own. The people who are getting a Habitat for Humanity home have to put in 500 hours and help build the house they are going to live in. So the people that are getting the home do not want it given to them. The people want to feel safe in the home they built.
