Home to Me
I put the key in the hole and open the door
I see my parents' faces
In my home, I have a bed
After a long day it’s where I like to lay my head
I always feel safe
Because I give my parents all my faith
Although my sister and I fight
We will always find a way to make it right
My family loves swimming
I will always leave my sister’s head spinning
My home is not just wood and stone
We will always be a family
And our arguments will never end in a calamity
It doesn’t matter where or what it is
As long as our parents wipe our tears
And say it will all be okay
And we will always laugh and play
No matter where or who were with
We will always be family
My family loves to cuddle with our pets
We will never have any regrets
Our favorite animals are cats dogs
We will never make them chew on logs
Home is more than just four walls
It's where our loved ones will pick us up when we fall
Sure these things may be different for you
But these words all mean home to me
