What My Home Means To Me
What my home means to me changes each year, but I will explain what it means to me right now. When I think of home, I think of its comfort and warmth. My home is a place where I can stretch and recover from my long days, and if I’m ever in a mood, I have my own room, and I’m grateful for that.
I grew up in my home, and it’s shaped me into what I am today. It’s a loving environment, and someone is always there to take care of me or help me through some rough days. My home is a place where my family and I can bond. I can go in my wonderful backyard and not have to worry about anything because it is a safe place for me to play.
I am lucky to have these wonderful neighbours who are also my home. They make me feel safe, and if anything happens, I know I can go to them.
I’ve created many memories at home, and I realize that not all people grow up the way I’m growing up right now. I’m extremely grateful that I have a wonderful home. I recognize that many people don’t have a safe, comfy, warm place to call their own home. Many people can’t afford the prices of food, house bills, child care, and heating/cooling systems, and thankfully, charities and social assistance can provide some relief with that.
By writing and submitting this, I’m helping people who cannot afford a wonderful place to call home. I hope that somewhere, someday, someone can benefit from this and find a place to call their own. The world is a place where not everyone has the same opportunities.
I hope that one day that changes and that everyone is equal.
