What home is to me

My home isn’t my house, it's the things that are inside of it that make it home. My family is a really big part of what home means to me, it wouldn’t be home without them. Even though sometimes they get on my nerves. I will always love them and I can’t picture my life without them. My dog is also a part of my family, she brings a lot of joy into our household! When I say “joy” I mean that she fills our hearts with happiness. When we are sad she cheers us up, when we are mad she makes us happy again. She just makes everything better! Also, a part of my family is my nanny and poppy, even though they don't live with me I see them every week, they always know how to put a smile on our faces and whenever my nanny bakes something I feel like it's the definition of the smell of home to me. In conclusion without my family in my house, it would not feel like home, it would be all empty and no sign of joy or sounds of laughter and cheers. My house is not my home without my family, and that is what home means to me.
