What Home Means to Me

Home is a place that means you're warm, and hopefully you feel safe. It means you have a place to go to, when you have nowhere to go. To me it is a place you can sit down and watch tv with your family, or even play a game. A place you can make both happy and bad memories, and bad memories are not bad. If you did not have bad memories you would have no memories. Well at least not as much. It’s a place or a home full of love, and every home has a different type of love. Some homes don't have love because too many people can't afford them, I look at the streets of every town I go to and I see homeless people. Half of the time it is not their fault because they don't have a place of love to go back to, I think it is so sad that some people just don't care. But I bet that if you look at them and you think what if I was them for a day, what would happen would you ask for help would you earn money would you beg for a home to go to. Because I know that I would because I love my home, and if people can't have that kind of home then I wish they could. I feel so bad for them because no one deserves it, I have two homes and I am thrilled because it means I have twice as much home to be in. Home is a place you can be yourself and no one will criticize you if you do get criticized at all, but either way why would they do that probably because they don't have a place of love to go to. Home is your heart, it is the centre, it is where every idea every loved memory has happened. It is where the whole thing started, people built houses back in the 17 hundreds. The first idea of home was for a shelter, but it is so much more than just that. The time it took for the people who built that home, just because they know it will create memories that a lot of people can not have.
