The Meaning of Home

It starts with building. Assembling the foundation, filling it in With flooring, new walls and a roof. My home isn’t only built of materials. It’s built with love. My home is somewhere I can lay my head every night. I feel safe in my home Where the walls protect me from the outside world. When I think of home, I think of how happy my family and I are together. My home is the place where my family and I Rely on each other everyday. Home is the place where my siblings and I Can play together anytime we want. Where my family and I sit down at the table To enjoy delicious meals with each other. But there are some who are not as fortunate as I To have a home that is safe and warm. To have a sense of security In a home where they are loved unconditionally. I believe that everyone Should have a place to lay their head. A home that is a cherished space With food and a nice warm bed. I am grateful to have a home Filled with memories and care. I wish someday that this will be the truth For people everywhere.
