What Home Truly Means to Me

What Home Truly Means to Me A home is more than just a building. It's a place where family members come together and connect with one another. It's a place with fond memories of the special times you were together. Homes are more than just a house to stay. A home is a place where you make memories and cherish them to the very end. What my home means to me is a warm place, a safe place, a place I don't worry about anything. Home is like a museum holding all your precious memories. Your home is there to be a comfort zone when you're at your most vulnerable. Your home is there to keep you accompanied and safe. It's a place that teaches you how to share. As they say, “Charity begins at home." When I arrive home from school, I am greeted by my loving family members, including my dog. Home is where you can feel loved no matter where you are. Home is an exceptional place where many people appreciate them. Homes don't need to be a house, apartment, etc. It just has to be a place you feel safe, warm, and loved by others. It doesn’t have to be a palace or mansion, it just has to be somewhere you feel comfortable and loved. Home is where you learn to appreciate and praise the things that your home provides you with. Home is like your parents' embrace. The feeling of love. The feeling of safety, somewhere you feel out of sight of danger. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making houses that people can call their home. I hope you continue to carry on with your organisation’s mission in bringing communities together to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.
